Rosetrees Trust PhD Studentship

This autumn, APS Support UK will be collaborating with the Rosetrees Trust to co-fund a PhD studentship for research into APS.

Applications can be made through the Rosetrees Portal.

Applications opened on 5th November 2025, and the closing date for preliminary submissions is 19th January 2026. 

The funds can be used to support a PhD student for three years. Consumables and stipend (at standard Rosetrees rates) will be included, but PhD fees will not be included.

If you wish your application to be considered for this co-funded scheme, please email Vineeth Rajkumar (vrajkumar@rosetrees.org.uk) with your application reference number and a covering letter stating that you want this to happen and explaining why your research is relevant to APS.

The applications will go through the normal Rosetrees peer-review process and will be judged on scientific merit.
