Three Peaks Challenge

Climb the highest mountains in the UK – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon!

You'll head to Fort William before trekking to the summit of your first and highest peak – Ben Nevis. You'll then set off for the Lake District to conquer Scafell Pike by night. Your final ascent takes place in Snowdonia National Park, where you'll climb the mighty Snowdon!

Your target trekking time will be 15 hours or less, the equivalent available trekking time for the traditional 24-hour Three Peaks Challenge. There is a maximum available trekking time of 18 hours. You’ll climb around 9,500 feet and walk approximately 22 miles - it’s no wonder the National Three Peaks Challenge is the most highly regarded trekking challenge in the UK!

A tough challenge awaits and your boundaries will be pushed, but with GAC's support and exceptional care and encouragement, you can conquer this classic charity challenge. Ben Nevis Trek

This challenge takes you into the heart of the breathtaking Western Highlands in order to conquer the highest peak in Britain set at 1,345m above sea level.

The trail to the summit is technically easy, but trekking Ben Nevis is a challenge – stamina and determination are a must! The stunning views of the highlands will be with you all the way and provide a fantastic backdrop to one of the most sought after charity challenges in the UK! This challenge will occur on the 26th - 28th September 2025.

This trek provides two fundraising options:

Jurassic Coast Trek

GAC's newest UK trek takes you on a weekend adventure along England’s only natural World Heritage Site, the awesome Jurassic Coast! 

The two-day trek will start with a journey from Peveril Point to the beautiful Kimmeridge Beach, where you can dip your toes in the sea and search for fossils among the ancient rocks. You’ll trek further along the South West Coast Path on your second day, where you’ll take in views of Worbarrow Bay and the blue waters of the famous Lulworth Cove. The finish line is at the iconic Durdle Door, a limestone arch formed more than 10,000 years ago! Dramatic coastal views and world-famous landmarks await! The Jurassic Coast Trek will occur on the 18th - 20th July 2025.

Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Join and conquer the highest three peaks of the Yorkshire Dales!

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a demanding yet rewarding one-day trekking challenge takes us to the summits of Pen-y-Ghent (694m/2,276 ft), Whernside (736m/2,415 ft) and Ingleborough (723m/2,372 ft),  all in one circular route starting and ending in Horton-in-Ribblesdale. We’ll be supporting each other every step of the way on this demanding yet rewarding UK-based challenge, which includes over 1,700m of ascent. This challenge will occur on the 12th July 2025.

Snowdon at Night

Trekking Mt Snowdon (1,085m) during the daytime forms a great challenge, but by using torches to light your way and having the moon as your backdrop, summiting at night brings another sense of achievement to an already recognised charity trek.

Seeing the sunrise across Snowdonia National Park will be a memory never forgotten! Upon your descent, you will witness the breathtaking mountain range open up to give glorious views and afterwards you'll tuck into a delicious celebration breakfast! These are the dates available to take on this challenge. This challenge will occur on the 2nd - 3rd August 2025.

Ben Nevis Midnight Trek

The Ben Nevis Midnight Trek sees you conquer the tallest mountain in the UK, but with a difference!

On this trek, you will reach the highest point in the UK – guided by torches and the stunning night sky! You’ll be setting off at night-time and your trek will follow the route as it zig-zags its way to the summit in time to witness a breath-taking sunrise (weather permitting!) across the Scottish Highlands on your descent. The trek will be challenging; however, you’ll be accompanied by experienced mountain leaders supporting you every step of the way and you will return with memories to last a lifetime. These are the dates available to take on this challenge. This challenge will occur on the 16th - 17th August 2025.

24 Peaks Challenge

The Lake District is one of the most beautiful areas in the UK, filled with breath taking mountains and valleys – it is the perfect backdrop to this awesome challenge. The days will be long and the trekking really tough, but the rewards of hiking into the heart of this amazing National Park and the accomplishment of conquering 24 peaks will make your efforts worthwhile.

Hadrian's Wall Trek

This most ancient of charity treks takes you from Lanercost Priory to Brocolitia, encompassing some of the most visited and fascinating ruins. 

Hadrian’s Wall was built in AD122 on the orders of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, and stretched from the East to West coasts of Britain, from Bowness on Solway in the West to Wallsend in the East. It is the most remarkable Roman monument in the country and quite unique throughout the former Empire. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site which cuts through Northumberland National Park, Hadrian’s Wall attracts trekkers from all over as it offers great challenging walks, filled with a stunning backdrop and history. It’s a perfect location for a UK charity challenge! This challenge will occur on the 27th - 29th June 2025.
