London Winter Walk

28th & 29th January 2023

A great event to walk off the Christmas celebrations, and to kick start your New Year fitness regime! There are Full Marathon & Half Marathon & 10K options, all starting & finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground on Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 January, and take in highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges, and many of the Capital’s key landmarks. Families are welcome, there’s a free winter bobble hat & neck buff, rest stops with snacks, with a special medal and hot food at the finish.

Easter 50 Challenge

1st April 2023

Take on a 50 km Ultra or a historic 25km – and make it an active Easter! From our Windsor Racecourse base camp 1500 adventurers will head out on looped routes through the Great Park with fantastic views of the Castle, on to Runnymede, along the Thames Path, and takes in some wonderful countryside. You’ll get full support all the way, a few post Easter surprises, a celebration finish at base camp, and a hot meal. It’s a great way to kick off the 2023 Ultra Challenge season, and to get in shape for summer.

Isle Of Wight Challenge

29th - 30th April 2023

Great challenges need great settings – and few are better than the Island’s stunning coastal path. Up to 2,000 adventurers will take on the Isle of Wight in April 2023 – with all out to push themselves further. It’s along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles, and up to historic Cowes at the half way stop. For Full Island challengers it’s on to historic Ventnor, and back to our welcome base camp in Chale after an epic 106km journey. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way, and with half & quarter Island options also – there’s an Isle of Wight Challenge for everyone!

Jurassic Coast Challenge

13th - 14th May 2023

Spectacular World Heritage coastline, with a start in Corfe Castle, the route heads down to Swanage, and along through Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups & downs to Weymouth at half way. For 100 km challengers, it’s past Portland Bill, Chesil Beach, and on to West Bay’s cliffs (of TV’s Broadchurch) – before a finish line celebration in the vibrant Dorset town of Bridport. Great Half & Quarter Challenge options also – PLUS a revised Marathon & a NEW Double Marathon option for 2023!

London 2 Brighton Challenge

27th - 28th May 2023

Now in its 11th year over 2,000 adventurers will take on the Capital to Coast route and test their grit over the whole weekend. Richmond-Upon-Thames is the start, and it’s over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside to half way at Turners Hill. The full 100 km route heads over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way – and with half, and quarter distance options also available – there’s a classic challenge here for everyone!

Lake District Challenge

10th - 11th June 2023

Take on England’s finest countryside at your pace. Our Challenge base-camp is in Kendal, and from there it’s a 100km anticlockwise loop taking in a couple of tough hills, Garburn Pass, Ambleside, a half way point by Lake Windermere, forests, and nature reserves – with some stunning views en route – before a huge welcome and celebration back at Base Camp after a momentous journey. You’ll get full support & hospitality, optional camping / hostel, and with half & quarter distance options – there’s a Lake District Challenge for everyone!

Cotswold Way Challenge

24th - 25th June 2023

Our Cirencester basecamp is the start of the 100 km looped route through the heart of the Cotswolds, which provides a stunning setting for 2,000 adventurers to test themselves. Rolling hills, villages, the magical Cotswold Way, footpaths & trails, with some fabulous views en route. You’ll get full support & hospitality, including optional ‘university style’ accommodation at basecamp, and with half & quarter distance challenges also there’s a Cotswold’s Challenge for everyone.

Peak District Challenge

8th - 9th July 2023

Our base-camp hub in idyllic Bakewell will welcome over 2,000 adventurers who will test themselves in the fabulous Peak District National Park. There’s a full range of camping options, car parking, and extensive hospitality & welfare services across the weekend – with a full 100 km Challenge which takes a tough & varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire’s finest scenery. By popular demand – we’re heading back to the North Downs with a fabulous challenge setting out from our Guilford basecamp, and a looped 50 km route which takes in some of the best of the Surrey hills, the North Downs Way, and the surrounding countryside. A route with real variety and some wonderful scenery & views – and easily accessible from London! You’ll get full support & hospitality, and with 25 km options also available, and University style accommodation at basecamp as a bookable extra –  there’s a North Downs Challenge waiting for you in 2023!

S.W Coast 50 Challenge

5th August 2023

A new ‘South West’ challenge for 2023 – taking in the first Minehead section of the stunning & famous 630 mile Coastal Path, and with an extensive ‘basecamp’ in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle. Then the 50 km loop heads over Exmoor with ups & downs and some magnificent views with over 1600 metres of climb. You’ll get full support all the way to the finish, and with three 25 km options also, plus a family friendly 10K event  – along with camping options & festival style hospitality at basecamp across the weekend – there’s a South West Coast Challenge for everyone!

London Summer Walk

26th August 2023

Get active & explore some of the Capital’s historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section. Starting alongside the grandeur of Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks (short walk from the new Elizabeth Line station!) – our 25km looped route heads through Charlton, along the Thames Path around the Greenwich Peninsula – past the O2, Old Royal Naval College & the fabulous Cutty Sark. Then it’s through the Greenwich foot tunnel and into Docklands – past the Thames Barrier Park and back to Woolwich via the 2nd foot tunnel. A route steeped in history with iconic sights, and capped with a BBQ & bar at the finish – making for a wonderful end of summer celebration!

South Coast Challenge

2nd - 3rd September 2023

The South Downs National Park is a superb backdrop for 2000 adventurers to take on a real challenge. An Eastbourne start, up Beachy Head, the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the South Downs Way, with stunning views over the sea, to a Brighton half-way. Devil’s Dyke, and a few ups & downs lie ahead before historic Arundel comes into view after an amazing 100 km journey. You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way – and with half & quarter distance options available – there’s a South Coast Challenge for everyone!

Thames Moonlight 10 Walk

8th September 2023

The Moonlight 10 Walk kicks off the famous Thames Path Challenge weekend festival of riverside events! Take on either a spirited 10 km or an energetic 10 mile looped route through the heart of London as darkness falls and the Moon rises. Experience London in a different light, passing famous landmarks – including St Paul’s, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, the London Eye and more. A lively finish line awaits – with a glass of fizz & a special Moon medal – followed by some welcome hot food & drink.

Thames Bridge Trek

9th September 2023

Join 2000 walkers and trek across the Capital taking in unrivalled views of the skyline, and historic landmarks. Setting out from the Putney Bridge start we head East towards the City, zig-zagging over 16 historic bridges – each with its own fascinating story – and a mid point rest stop near The Oval Cricket Ground for some snacks & drinks. 25km later, it’s a party style finish line celebration in Southwark Park past the final crossing – the majestic Tower Bridge.

Thames Path Challenge

9th - 10th September 2023

England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge. Over 3000 adventurers will join the Putney Bridge start, and the full 100km route heads upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful scenery to a riverside finish line. With 50km & 25km distance options also available – plus the separate 25km ‘Thames Bridges Trek’ & ‘The Moonlight 10 Walk’ through Central London as part of the weekend ‘festival’ – there’s a Thames Challenge for everyone!

Henley 10k Challenge

10th September 2023

The Henley 10k is alongside the Thames Path Challenge’s main finish venue. It’s a fabulous 10 km loop through Remenham countryside with a start / finish near Henley Bridge on Sunday morning. Take it on as a Walk, a Jog, or as a Run – and get your family and friends involved.

Our Henley riverside base camp is a great location for a ‘Mini Challenge’ and with an optional BBQ, a ‘Toddler 2K’ fun event – there is something for everyone down by the river!

Chiltern 50 Challenge

23rd September 2023

End of season 50 km looped route in some of the Chilterns finest countryside, with historic trails, rolling hills, nature reserves, and fantastic views. At our basecamp in Henley, there’s a Saturday night celebration BBQ, bar & entertainment, with extensive on-site camping & parking options. A route with real variety and some wonderful scenery – and easily accessible from London. You’ll get full support & hospitality, and with a 23 or 27 km option 25km loop and a 10K also available, there’s a Chiltern Challenge for everyone!

Halloween Walk

28th October 2023

Why not treat yourself to a hair-raising hike around some of the City’s scary streets and historic haunts? Choose your distance, gather your bravest guys & ghouls to make up a team – or go it alone if you dare and meet up with other chilling challengers. Dress to distress, and our creepy dungeon keepers at The Oval start & finish will meet, greet & shock. Once you escape there’s ghostly looped routes, with zombie rest stops, and if you manage to get back in one piece there’s a macabre medal, a glass of the Devil’s fizz, some horrific hot food & drink – and a souvenir bobble hat to ward off the spirits as you head off.
