Get on your bike for APS Support UK
You can get fit and take a bike ride challenge on behalf of our charity at any time of the year, whether you are organising your own sponsored cycle ride or joining an official event with one of the many cycling events around the UK.
When you are ready to start fundraising, we have our own JustGiving webpage where you can set up your own personalised fundraising site for free and/or we can send you sponsorship forms if you require, plus as many leaflets as you want.
If you fancy going further afield, APS Support UK has partnered with two different charity challenge organisations to give you the opportunity to join either:
London to Brighton Cycle
On this iconic London to Brighton Cycle Ride, leave the buzz of the city behind and join thousands of your fellow cyclists as you face the challenge of a 55-mile. Journey on two wheels from the heart of London to the buzzing Brighton seafront!
Over 4,000 riders will make their way through the idyllic English countryside, putting their pedals to the test on Ditchling Beacon before gliding down to Brighton to cross the finish line and celebrate their success. On your way, stop at the picturesque village of Turners Hill for lunch, stay hydrated at water stops along the route of this challenging cycle ride and take advantage of our stationary and roaming mechanical support to keep you on course to the finish line.
No need to be looking at your map – our route is fully sign-posted so that you can keep your eyes on the road and enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside! It is the perfect challenge for solo riders looking to get in some extra miles, beginner cyclists taking on their first big challenge or corporate groups looking for a team cycle!

Land’s End to John O’Groats Cycle
The Land’s End to John O’Groats Cycle
Cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats, the furthest possible distance in the British Isles, is a classic challenge that many dream of. Starting at Land’s End on the south-westerly tip of England, you pedal your way through Cornwall, over Dartmoor and north along the Welsh border, skirting the Lake District into Scotland via lochs and the Highlands to the North Coast and John O’Groats.
In all, you'll cover almost 1000 miles, passing through some of the most stunning and remote countrysides in the British Isles. This is a tough challenge but a fabulous way to see the country and one of the most rewarding things you will ever do!
The exact route, distances and night stops are subject to change based on accommodation restrictions and will be confirmed closer to departure; the daily descriptions shown are very typical.
