Run for our charity

APS Support UK has places that guarantee entry for runners in the following running events in 2026. Still, you are also very welcome to participate in any race by gaining your own independent place.

Once you have secured a place either via our charity or by yourself, and you are ready to start fundraising, we have our own JustGiving section where you can set up your personalised fundraising site for free; we are also happy to send you good old-fashioned sponsorship forms and any APS leaflets if that helps with your fundraising.

Every runner will receive a free APS Support UK running vest - just let us know which size you need (S/M/L/XL).

We currently have guaranteed places for:
 

Saucony London 10k

  • We have 10 charity places available for the Saucony London 10K, which is being held on Sunday, 12th July 2026.
  • Registration is £20, and as places are limited, we ask that you try to raise £150 sponsorship money if possible.
  • This is the world’s greatest road race run and fantastic if you want to cram some quality sightseeing into your race.
  • Live bands, DJs and cheering fans will motivate you along the route, which takes you past Westminster Bridge, The London Eye, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus and Big Ben.

APS Support UK are affiliate partners of Just Running which you means you can now apply for charity entries for any of the following Just Running events. To apply for a charity entry simply find our charity from the drop down menu on the event page and request an entry, the request will come through to us for approval. Supernova Kelpies

  • The SuperNova Kelpies is being held on Friday, 13th March 2026
  •  For a charity place, we ask you to pay a £20 registration fee and set a fundraising target of £150. 
  • This fantastic 5K route is a great opportunity to explore the home of two 30-metre high horses! The Kelpies are mythical creatures who love to play at dusk, each one weighs over 300 tonnes. Come and immerse yourself in a light journey with them.
  •  Held at night in Helix Park, Falkirk, Scotland. 
  • All finishers receive a range of goodies including an LED torch, medal, Drawstring bag and supernova buff.

 

Kilomathon Edinburgh

  • The Kilomathon Edinburgh is being held on Sunday, 29th March 2025.
  •  There are options to run a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Full Marathon. 
  • For a charity place, we ask you to pay a £20 registration fee and set a fundraising target according to your distance - for the full marathon we do ask for a fundraising target of £750 as places are very limited. 
  • Fast & flat, this course was voted the fastest marathon in the UK by Runners World, ideal if it’s your first marathon or you are looking for a PB. The Edinburgh Marathon has sold out every year since 2008 and is the second largest marathon in the UK, behind only London.
  • All finishers receive a range of goodies including a medal, Drawstring bag and Kilomathon buff.

 

Edinburgh Marathon Festival 

  • The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is being held on Sunday, 24th May 2026.
  • For a charity place, we ask you to pay a £20 registration fee and set a fundraising target of £150. 
  • There are options to run 13.1K, 6.5K or the Kids Mini 2.6K
  • All finishers receive a range of goodies including a medal, keyring and t-shirt. 

 

10K Glasgow

  • The Women's 10K Glasgow and Men's 10K Glasgow are being held on Sunday, 21st June 2026.
  • For a charity place, we ask you to pay a £20 registration fee and set a fundraising target of £150. 
  • Maybe you’ve not done any exercise in a while and need a goal to motivate you, maybe you want to do something positive together with your friends and family, or maybe you want to fundraise for a worthwhile cause. Whatever your reason, the 10K is the perfect opportunity for you to lace up those trainers and make a difference, either to your own life or someone else’s.
  • All finishers receive a range of goodies including a medal, keyring and t-shirt. 

 

Scottish Half Marathon

  • The Scottish Half Marathon is being held on Sunday, 16th August 2026.
  • For a charity place, we ask you to pay a £20 registration fee and set a fundraising target of £150. 
  • The route is seriously flat & rapid – if you want to set a personal best for a half marathon, then this is the event for you. Starting conveniently at 11am just outside Edinburgh, you will run along the magnificent East Lothian Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse.
  • All finishers receive a range of goodies including a medal, keyring and t-shirt. 

 

Scottish 10K

  • The Scottish 10K is being held on Sunday, 16th August 2026.
  • For a charity place, we ask you to pay a £20 registration fee and set a fundraising target of £150. 
  • The route starts and finishes just outside Edinburgh at Musselburgh Racecourse. The Scottish 10K route is seriously fast and flat! You’ll run out and back along the magnificent Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse. Come and be a part of it!
  • All finishers receive a range of goodies including a medal and t-shirt. 

 

Edinburgh 10K

  • The Women's 10K Edinburgh andMen's 10K Edinburgh are being held on Sunday, 20th September 2026.
  • For a charity place, we ask you to pay a £20 registration fee and set a fundraising target of £150. 
  • A stunning 10K run through the heart of Scotland's capital city.
  • All finishers receive a range of goodies including a keyring, medal and t-shirt. 

 

Run Bournemouth Half Marathon

  • The Run Bournemouth is being held on Sunday, 12th October 2026
  • For a charity place, we ask you to pay a £20 registration fee and set a fundraising target of £150. 
  • The Bournemouth Half Marathon course follows the old Full Marathon route, taking in both Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers along this stunning coastal route. This is running as it should be.
  • All finishers receive a range of goodies including a keyring, medal and t-shirt. 

 

Supernova Forth Bridge

  • The Supernova Forth Bridge is being held on Sunday, 1st November 2026
  • For a charity place, we ask you to pay a £20 registration fee and set a fundraising target of £150. 
  • Walking, jogging, or running a 5K route on the iconic Forth Road Bridge, enjoying a series of spectacular light and colour features all the way. The event is completely accessible and therefore suitable for all abilities. You decide your pace, whether that is to run at the speed of light, or take your time and snap a few pictures and selfies as you go!
  • All finishers receive a range of goodies including a LED torch, medal and drawstring bag.

 

Supernova London

  • The Supernova London is being held on Sunday, 22nd November 2026
  • For a charity place, we ask you to pay a £20 registration fee and set a fundraising target of £150. 
  • Expect to be swept away on a distinctly magical experience as dusk falls on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London and grace the grounds of World Athletics Champions!
  • All finishers receive a range of goodies including a LED torch, medal and drawstring bag.
