Merry Fundraising: Spread cheer and raise funds for APS Support UK
This Christmas, why not add a festive touch to your fundraising activities? We have some ideas below to get you started:
Art and Crafts for APS
Do you have a flair for knitting, crocheting, painting, or calligraphy? This festive season, we’re inviting artists and crafters of all kinds to use their talents to create and sell handmade items — all in support of raising funds for APS Support UK.
Over the years, our incredible supporters have used their creativity to raise funds in the most inspiring ways — from selling handmade Christmas cards and jewellery to hosting art exhibitions in support of APS Support UK. One amazing supporter even transformed her home into a temporary art gallery!
We’ve seen everything from crocheted quilts to wood-turned bowls crafted and sold to support our cause.
If you have a creative talent and would like to use it to support APS Support UK this Christmas, we’d love to hear from you! You can either set up your own stall and donate using this link, or you can pop your items on eBay via our charity link to donate all or a portion of the profits to us.
E-Greetings
We are partnered with Don't Send Me A Card to allow you to send an e-card in lieu of a paper one, with a donation for the cost of cards. Its easier, and helps our charity too!
Gift in lieu
If you’re feeling generous and you’re stuck on what you want this Christmas, why not ask for donations to charity instead of gifts for yourself. It couldn’t be simpler to donate online!

Looking to host an event? Here are some ideas:
Christmas lights
Do you decorate the outside of your house with Christmas lights? This year why not make your display bigger and brighter and put a poster up asking for donations!
Mulled Wine and Mince Pies
Invite your friends and neighbours, or arrange a workplace gathering, and ask people to make a small donation in exchange for mulled wine and mince pies. The perfect way to celebrate Christmas and raise money for charity!
Carol Singing
If you’re part of a choir, or even if you’re not, why not gather your friends and put on a festive performance whilst raising funds for charity.
Christmas Quiz
Another great one for the workplace, or for that pre-Christmas get-together with friends. Make someone the quizmaster, get the drinks in, and have a great time whilst raising money. Don’t forget your Christmas jumpers!

A popular one! Gather your colleagues, dig out your favourite festive gear & don’t forget to pass the collecting tin around or set up an online donations page!
Festive baking
Get creative in the kitchen and rustle up some festive favourites, then invite your friends and colleagues to share in them for a small donation.
